A note from the founder of Fusion Function
Sidney McCree (Dj El Sid)
I’m Salvadorian and Black, and my wife Lauren is Italian. When we planned our own wedding, we wanted both of our families to feel at home on the dance floor. We love bachata, salsa, merengue, and Afrobeats just as much as ’90s boy bands, classic rock, and today’s hip-hop, and we couldn’t find a Boston wedding DJ who could bring all of that together in one night.
So we built Fusion Function Entertainment to fill that gap. Today we’re a team of 16 DJs and MCs serving couples across Boston, Massachusetts, and New England, specializing in multicultural and bilingual weddings. Whether your celebration blends Latin, Caribbean, African, Haitian, or Italian traditions, or you simply want a wedding DJ who can keep every generation dancing, we honor the moments that matter most to your families and mix them live, in real time, to your crowd.
